Marijauna Chai Tea

Weed tea is a long time classic cannabis recipe, marijuana chai tea is also a great way to relax after a long day! Have a cup before hitting the sack at night or use it to wash down your pot brownies (this will actually most likely get you too baked).

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups soy milk
  • Dash of cinnamon
  • Cannabis
  • 1

    Tbsp of cocoa
  • Tea bag of your choice

Quick note about the ingredients:
I recommend about 1/2 gram of cannabis per cup of milk for the first time making marijuana chai tea because weed drinks can be surprisingly strong and you definitely don’t want to overdo it.

3 cups of soy milk will yield about 2 servings of marijuana chai tea.

Directions:

  1. Put the milk in a pot and heat till simmering.
  2. Add the cannabis and stir gently for at least 5 minutes.
  3. Pour through strainer into mugs and add your tea bag.

Thats all there is to it. Enjoy!

Does it have to be full-fat soymilk? I used this brand called Soy Slender and which is 70 cals per cup and 3 grams of fat. How long do you heat the soymilk for, only 5 minutes??

  2. Chef

Well the fat in the milk, soymilk, whatever its may be; is what makes all this work. So the more fat the better, I would think.

Sorry but I can’t say for sure, since I’ve never tried it before

Is soymilk more effective than regular 2% dairy? I personally can’t stand the taste even in tea but would put up with it for the right cause ^^

  4. Chef

    Jacob,
This again comes down to personal preference. If you use regular milk it won’t quite be Chai tea, but definitely still drinkable.

I do recommend that you use whole milk over 2% though.

I don’t agree that if you use regular milk it won’t be Chai. Chai is traditionally made with milk, actually half and half. Who ever heard of soy milk in India? It’s a typical move on the part of the soy industry in this country that Chai is made with soy here.

do you have to grind up the cannabis before you put it into the simmering milk?

  7. john boy walton

i musta used the kinda grass you get outta your front yard that or we need to change the definition of the word potent.

this recipe sucks. i did exactly what you wrote and didnt feel anything what gives?

I did it and it worked just fine. I used whole milk, and let the weed simmer (NOT BOIL) for about 15 minutes. It took at least 3 or 4 hours to come into full effect, but once it did it worked quite nicely. It was split between 5 kids, and we put in a little more than a bowl (half gram) for each of us. We also ate the weed afterwards, just to maximize the effects, so that could have had something to do with it I suppose…

yo guys, i’ve tried the tea with some 2% milk since I can’t stand that soya shit and tea isn’t my prefered drink either. So I made 2 cups, had some with a friend and we were not extremely bakes (like smoking a joint with the equivalent weed) but we were smoothly baked, so i was thinking, since the only ingredient which is of importance is the THC infused milk, I say FUCK TEA, i’m making myself a hot chocolate. I’ll get back to you guys after having tryed it, but i’m gonna perfect the recipe with the amounts of weed to realy get you sky rocketing.

  11. Chef

Sorry that you didn’t have any luck Emily:(

As for everyone else, I’m glad it worked out for you!

CRIM- Be sure to submit the recipe and I’ll be sure to post it up!

this is not a question about the chai but I was wondering dose thc bond to sugar? could you make pot maple syrup?

  13. greenthumb

nah thc is not sugar soluble.

  14. Annie

THC is lipid soluble…. ie, the active ingredient in weed can only be absorbed by fat. So, you really would want to stick with using oils and butter in order to get the most from your grass.

  15. Yes, as Annie said, the only ingredient in the above recipe that will actually carry THC into your blood is the tiny bit of fat in the Soy Milk. Traditionally, Ganja drinks are made with a butter that has been saturated with marijuana.

The above recipe will be a miss for a lot of people. You’re all better off making a nice potent ganja oil or butter and adding that to your soy chai.
